1 c. raisins
1/2 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. crushed pineapple (packed in juice)
1 c. water
1/4 lb. margarine
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Boil raisins, dates, pineapple and water for 3 minutes. Add margarine and let cool. Beat eggs and vanilla. Add flour sifted with soda. Add cooled fruit mixture and nuts, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven approximately 25 minutes, or until a toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool.
May frost with 8 ounce cream cheese mixed with 1/4 cup honey.
